this album was a mix of some ideas. i wanted to do a dungeon synth project while also doing an NES chiptune only project. i’m a little stuck with music production right now - i’m a little in a funk - so these tight constraints let me produce something i was still happy with. now it’s back to the music-making funk.

track 1 is very directly inspired from the marble madness beginner level, and track 2 from tarm ruins. the rest are a mix of things. i’m pretty happy with how all this turned out.

album art is from poledra once again. the title of the album is a reference to us having just moved and experiencing the new parts of town.
